“And it was a remarkable session - 4 hours with a follow-up at a time of my choosing - I picked 2 months later. I have never been to therapy or any kind of counseling so part of this was a revelation because it was new to me, but in the course of the 4 hours, she never asked me any of the questions that I expected her to and by the time I left, I had an 18 month calendar for changing my life.” And later, . . .” An additional testimonial is that I'm writing to you from Buenos Aires. We're here for a month and taking a million tango classes and having a great time. I did my part - if only the economy hadn't crashed. You were very, very helpful and I've moved on. Possibly another tidbit would be that I'm in Buenos Aires for a month without my cell phone!”

"I was running a dying old-economy business and could not make the hard decisions needed to move forward with my life. I was mired in depression around my career. In an effort to free myself, I tried a series of "FutureScaping" coaching sessions with Charlotte.. . “
".....Today I am a successful Vice President at the world's largest executive search firm. What a difference a change in energy and vision can make! What a difference "FutureScaping" made in my life!"

Vice President, Korn Ferry International
“Working with Charlotte has been a very meaningful and productive
experience. The focus on passions and natural inclinations,(in FututeScaping) rather than simply work experiences, caused me to change focus completely. This is the most productive kind of work direction brainstorming imaginable.”

Non-Profit Board Executive
“With the use of unique coaching techniques and assessment tools, Charlotte (a.k.a. miracle worker) has the ability to deliver effective action plans that drive long term personal and professional leadership growth. In this past year working together, she has made a real difference in building my leadership presence and overall effectiveness.”

CEO, National Food Distributor
"From the 360 evaluation and Myers Briggs assessment to taking those results and having Charlotte coach me in some areas for growth, the whole process was really helpful for me.  I think it made a real difference in my performance and in my confidence in working with my new direct reports, and others in the Organization.

It was interesting to see how my self-evaluation differed in some ways from how others perceived me, and how my strengths and challenges related to the Organization's priorities for its leaders.  Working with Charlotte, I developed an Individual Development Plan that included broad things like what I wanted my leadership presence to look like in my new role and with my new direct reports.  She also had me use a feedback template to gain confidence in providing regular feedback.  She  encouraged me to set up regular meeting for my direct reports, even when they are doing well, which has proven to be very successful.

She was extremely helpful in coaching me through designing a Leadership 3-day training session I was responsible for.  Using the Facilitation At a Glance book, with her advice,  have proven very useful for designing and facilitating other meetings since.

I think working with Charlotte is just terrific for somebody who is very motivated to do the work and needs someone to help guide and coach them.  She provides the accountability to make changes.  She didn't do the work for me, but I don't think I could have done it all alone."

I came across my 2009 Paper Room output recently; my notes and photos of flip chart pages.  Incredible material, prescient!  It is more than ironic that my happy and rewarding life today includes a huge amount of the activities and time allocation imagined in the PR exercises in 2009. Your facilitation, indeed, did identify what I wanted and needed for an aligned and satisfying professional and personal like. I never imagined that I could or would be able to deliver against these dreams. I was never aware of actually working on the goals, but it would appear that the work planted and invisible seeds.

I have the life to prove it. Bravo to you, and to me.

Executive Recruiter and Coach
It is my great pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Charlotte Kells, as she is one of the best leadership and professional development consultants that I have ever worked with. She is an incredibly gifted facilitator who has a deep understanding of individual and team motivation and dynamics, giving her the ability to sense when to stretch workshop participants to go beyond their comfort zone, to hold them accountable for their own work, and to inspire them to grow and develop. Charlotte’s experience and dedication are phenomenal, and she is always willing to lend me her ear when I just need a few minutes of her time to run by an idea or two. I’ve had her work with my organization on a number of projects, from team-building to executive coaching, and everything in between. In every case, participants come away feeling satisfied and excited to apply the concepts they learned once they get back to their office. She is very supportive and dedicated to individual, team, and organizational development. I firmly believe that any organization that contracts her services will be entirely satisfied with her work.
